The breeding tools

Keep the detail.
See what needs doing.

Mares, scans and foaling

Follow each mare’s season, service records, scan results and estimated foaling date. Keep follow-up tasks and foaling outcomes with the horse’s history.

Stallion books and bookings

Manage seasonal nominations, service bookings and recorded coverings. Set capacity up to 250 distinct mares per stallion, per season.

Semen collections and stock

Record collections, fresh doses, frozen straws and storage locations. Track physical stock, sale allocations, dispatches and use separately.

Embryo transfer and ICSI

Link donors, sires, laboratories and recipients. Keep individual embryo references, storage and transfer records together with the recorded outcomes.

Visiting mares and vaccinations

Plan walk-in visits, arrivals and departures. Keep vaccination records, including EHV, paperwork reviews and vet-supplied next due dates with the mare.

Foals, youngstock and daily work

Link foals to their parents, record growth and weaning, and assign dated tasks to your team. Search and filter records across properties.

Record the decisions and dates supplied by your vet or laboratory. Foaling dates are planning estimates, and schedules can be adjusted for the individual mare.

A few useful details.

Do I also need a separate Equine subscription?

No. The planned Stud Portal subscription includes full Tockly Equine. Final pricing and subscription details will be confirmed before purchase.

Does a booking automatically create an invoice?

No. Bookings and recorded services are kept separate from billing. Approved stud charges go into Equine Unbilled Work for review. Semen sale allocations are records; they do not automatically create an invoice or take payment.

Does it connect to a breed registry or laboratory?

Stud Portal keeps your breeding and laboratory records together. It does not submit Stud Book filings, connect directly to external laboratories or determine breeding eligibility.

What about Syndicator Hub and TocklyTime?

Syndicator Hub and TocklyTime are separate subscriptions. They are not included in the planned Stud Portal membership.
